2001
was an extremely successful year for Frenchman
Christophe Bouchut. Not only did he claim the the
FIA GT Championship for his team, Larbre Competition
Chéreau, a year after winning the N-GT title, he took
his third major 24-Hour victory, becoming the only man
to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 24 Hours of Daytona
and the 24 Hours of Spa !

A hard
act to follow, and there have certainly been less
victories for Bouchut in 2002, but after claiming a
historic second victory in the 24 Hours of Spa, Bouchut
regained the lead in the FIA GT Championship, finally
claiming the title in Estoril. He also
finished in a fine 5th place in the notoriously
difficult Michelin Porsche Supercup, in his first year
in the category.

2004 :
The season starts in Monza !
Christophe Bouchut has decided to continue with
Dutch team Zwaans GTR Racing in the FIA GT Championship,
sharing the Chrysler Viper GTS-R with sportscar star Marc
Goossens of Belgium, and with team-owner Arjan van der Zwaan.
After the team put in a lot of work on the car - formerlly the Roos
Optima car in 2003 - Bouchut, van der Zwaan and Goossens brought the
car home in sixth, for three points. Bouchut is a triple FIA GT

GTS-R, as well as winning the Proximus 24 Hours of Spa twice For
